Original handmade tile by Celeste

I love to draw and carve into clay. The daffodils were so magnificent in the garden. I was inspired to draw them into a slab of wet clay.

The glaze colors were applied at different firings. The tile comes ready to hang and measures 16 7/8"L x 8 1/4"H x 1"D. I signed my name into the wet clay after the drawing was done.

This artwork can be enjoyed forever. It can be used in moist areas and will not be damaged. It however should not be used outside were there are freezing temperatures!

I have other tiles for sale as well as other items from my studio. I hope you enjoy looking at my work.

About the Artist:

Celeste's background is built on years of material explorations and education in both two and three dimensional arts, home design, construction and commercial graphics. She holds a B.A. in studio arts from Barat College, Lake Forest, IL. She is currently an exhibiting member of the Association of Clay and Glass Artists of California (ACGA).
