Salmon Run Platter! Gorgeous Vintage Arthur Court Serving Platter with Carnelian Eye! Luscious Design!

This lovely sculpted aluminum serving platter is beautiful and unique, and sure to elicit “oohs and aahs” at your next gathering or party — or just displayed on your wall!
Perfect for serving baked salmon, seafood, sushi, canapés, cheeses, or anything else you might decide, it depicts a “run” of salmon — ten on the front and nine on the back — swimming upstream, of course!
The first salmon has a beautiful inset carnelian eye, just to make it even more stunning!
This unusual platter has nicely raised sides as well as a raised nose and tail, so they can safely hold your cooked food, sushi, or even crudités! Line it with curly lettuce to serve whole baked fish, a cheese assortment, or pile it high with shrimp or hors d’oeuvres!
Measuring over 18” long, it is a generous 8” wide and about 1-1/4” deep with flaring sides. The small imprinted logo on the back says “Arthur Cross” and it is very vintage, these unique and beautiful platters having been produced between 1986 and 1998.
Both sides are shiny and bright, with perhaps a few tiny minor use scuffs, or imperfections from the metal casting process.
From the tails to the gills, you will delight in all the details of the “salmon run”: the heads, eyes, gills, fins and every tiny scale are clearly delineated in this beautifully sculptured oval-shaped aluminum platter.
