Ceramic stoneware bottles are not especially unusual but this one has the unique feature of being triangular in shape. It is possible that this shape is to allow it to be laid down, maybe to be filled with hot water and placed into a bed as a hot water bottle.

Regardless, this lovely cream coloured bottle could still be used as a water container for serving when eating alfresco. The spring on the seal is a bit loose but the stopper is undamaged.

This bottle is in very good vintage condition with no damage apart from the loose clip.
