Enjoy the sounds of this 14 note, outdoor/indoor, bell tree xylophone (wooden stand not included). Notes range from middle C to A - that's 2 octaves of natural notes (no sharps/flats). With the appropriate mallet (chosen at purchase), these chimes can be located outdoors or indoors since all materials are weather resistant. No talent is needed to play - simply hit the notes you want. Children, teens, adults and the elderly will enjoy making music wherever these are mounted. Ideas include toy rooms, sound gardens, near a playground, meditation corners, flower beds or wherever you'd like.
Wooden striking mallet is for indoor use only (not weather resistant) and produces a softer more mellow tone. Metal striking mallet is weather resistant and can be used indoor or outdoor producing a louder and brighter sound.
Pipes are .7" in diameter and range from 6.5"-12.5" long. The entire bell tree is about 19" tall by 13" wide and made from galvanized steel. Weighs around 4lbs.
These are not professionally tuned pipes and are made from common building materials (some markings may be present). However, we strive to cut our pipes as accurate as possible and we do pride ourselves in providing a quality product for the amount of money you pay. Most minor imperfections/markings can be hid by placing them on the back of the bell tree.
Mounting hardware and wooden stand are not provided since you can mount these in a number of ways and locations. Three mounting locations are provided: a wire on top to hang your bell tree like a picture frame and two mounting points on the bottom to secure it from rocking or moving.
Important: When mounting your bell tree, be sure it does not come in contact with the wall or any item behind it. This will deaden the sound and not let the pipes resonate.
