Pet Portraits Return/Cancellation Policy

Custom pet portraits are created by hand, using acrylic paints on stretched canvas. These are 100% made by hand from scratch by me. These are custom hand made products, and are one of a kind specific to your pet. So, once a pet portrait order is placed, I do not accept cancellations or returns. If It Arrives Damaged: I make sure to purchase shipping insurance on these items, so if they arrive damaged, you need to contact your local Post Office to file an insurance claim. Once this is done, contact me.

I include care instructions and a certificate of authenticity with every custom pet portrait I create. If you misplace this care sheet, please contact me and I will be happy to email you another one.

Color Discrepancy Between Screen and Product

I do my best to make sure the colors that are on the screen are representative of what you will receive when you order the product. I have ordered samples of my own work to check quality, and am pleased that they match the work very well. However, sometimes the colors on the product may be a little bit different than on the screen, just due to the nature of the printing process and differences in how computer and cell phone screens display color. Color saturation and lightness/darkness will look slightly different on everyone's screens. Different materials will reflect colors differently depending on their texture.

For many of my products (excluding originals and pet portraits) I use a printing company to make the products. They are shipped directly from the printing company to your door, which results in a lower cost to you and faster shipping. These companies produce high quality products; however, sometimes there are errors. If you have any problems with your products please CONTACT ME first. Most problems can be resolved quickly.

Pet Portraits and Originals: By purchasing a pet portrait or original painting, you understand that the Copyright of the artwork is retained by me, the artist. You, as the customer, cannot make copies, or otherwise reproduce the painting on any products or merchandise, online or offline. I allow and encourage sharing on social media, provided my name (Rebecca Wang) is cited as the artist, and a link to my website or store.

Photo References for Pet Portraits

What I Need From You: Within 48 hours of placing your order, please send me 4-5 photos of your pet through email. Pick out one that you like best as the main reference, and send others as secondary references. I may need more depending on the quality of the photos you choose. Please make sure the photos are in focus, sharp, not too dark or too light, and have sufficient details (you can see hairs and fur patterns). If you are unsure if your photo is adequate for a portrait, please contact me. The better quality photo you provide, the better your portrait will turn out. However, I will work with just about any photo, since I understand most portraits are from pets who are deceased and you are unable to get more pictures.

Materials: Ceramic Ornament

Immortalize your beloved pet with this beautiful hand painted memorial ornament pet portrait.
I work using your photos to create a unique portrait of your pet on these 3 inch circle shaped ornaments for you to treasure forever.

The ornaments measure 3 inches in diameter, and 3/8" thick. The portrait is hand-painted with acrylic paints directly onto the ornament. I apply two layers of clear gloss varnish to protect the painting.

The ornaments come with a black velvet gift bag inside a gift box, and also come with a ribbon for hanging if desired. (NOTE: The ribbon may differ than what is pictured due to availability) Your portrait ornament will also come with instructions on how to care of an acrylic painting, as well as a certificate of authenticity.

The portrait will be painted on one side, and the reverse will have your pet's name and anything else you would like me to write, such as a date of birth.

I can paint any type of animal, including dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, farm animals, fish, and birds. My two main styles are natural colors and vibrant rainbow colors, with your choice of background. Please see the images for real examples of my work.

Please note this is for ONE PET per ornament. Due to the small size, I cannot add more pets to one ornament.

Your finished portrait will ship to you in secure packaging via USPS Priority Mail with a tracking number and insurance. Shipping is free within the United States. If you are outside of the United States, please message me for shipping cost calculation.

After purchase, I will be in contact with you so that you can email me your photos that you want me to use to create your painting. I request one photo to use as the main reference, and at least 3-4 additional photos of your pet to use as additional references.
