This useful set of skirt hikers shall serve well in keeping thy skirt out of the grass and mud. Gather up some fabric from the hem of your skirt to run it through the rings and avoid dirt or damage, all while having that great medieval look. The mug strap that is pictured is NOT INCLUDED as this listing was cloned from a previous one but ONLY includes the hikes. We'll shoot new pictures soon but for now...... We use a sturdy 10-11 oz drum dyed bridle leather for this premium product that we've made for many SCA and Ren-Faire participants. The leather is colorfast so that it will not transfer dye onto your attire. This is a variation on our standard 1" width hikes that instead used 1.5" leather and hardware so that heavier fabrics can be drawn through the rings. Of course, hikes are a popular favorite with the SCA, Rennie, and LARP folk.

Options:

•Color: Your choice of Black, Chestnut (a lighter brown), Brown (darker) White, Burgundy (red wine color), Red (bright heraldic). Other colors not listed or pictured but easily made are , pink, natural, others, we have smaller quantities of leather that might do the trick... green even blue.

•Top Loop for belt: We size these to hang on a 1.5" belt however we'll cheerfully accommodate requests for wider belts for no extra charge. Just let us know what you'd like, and we'll craft something to make you happy.

•Width: We use 1.5" wide sealed bridle leather, latigo leather, or pigmented leather depending upon the color you choose. This is wider than a standard hike so that it can properly carry and keep orderly the larger rings that will jauntily capture your skirt's edge. If you'd like something different, please ask and we can see what will work best for you.

We make the hikes entirely by hand in our smoke free workshop in Saint Albans, Vermont. We ship fast via USPS FCM (or better) with delivery confirmation. We are happy to ship internationally, and insurance is included in this rate. Multiple items get a discount for combined shipping.

This picture is representative of the item on auction, which means that I don't take a picture of EVERY hike & mug strap that I make.

Temporary maker notes on this item: We haven't taken pictures of all the different variations yet; however, we'll be shooting as they are ordered, and we make them. The ONLY version pictured that is the 1.5" is the Engraved Stainless Steel in brown and black.
