Information about patterns

We sell original tissue paper printed patterns by major brands like Butterick, McCall's, Simplicity, Vogue, etc. We inspect each pattern to make sure it is uncut and factory folded, plus we make sure all pages of the instructions are included in the envelope. If a factory error occurs, please let us know so we can make it right.

Sizing details and measurements are listed in the description section of each pattern. We also include a photo of the envelope back or manufacturers measurement chart. If you have any additional questions, please contact us.

** We go to the Post Office Monday through Saturday by 11am pdt (unless noted in our Shop Announcement). Any order received after 10:30am pdt will ship the next business day. ** All US orders are shipped via USPS, with a tracking number. All International orders are shipped through Etsy/Global Postal, with tracking. ** We enclose all patterns in a 2mil sleeve to protect it and to use after your pattern has been unfolded or cut. We ship each order in a poly mailer with heavy cardstock stabilizer to ensure it arrives safe and sound. ** We currently "do not" offer free shipping, but we do combine shipping charges and refund shipping overages over $1.50

We are so sorry, but we DO NOT ACCEPT ORDER CANCELLATIONS. We would be happy to "swap out" a different pattern of the same cost as long as we have stock available and we haven't already shipped the original pattern.

PLEASE VERIFY YOUR ADDRESS.... We will ship your pattern(s) to the address provided on the order. If your package is returned to us, we will credit the cost of the pattern(s) only and advise through Etsy message the reason USPS returned your package to us.

** We ship all of our packages through Etsy and only charge the amount Etsy charges us. ** A few years ago USPS advised they were running in the red and would be increasing their prices twice a year, plus an increase for the additional packages shipped during "holiday" from October through Christmas. This year they had an increase in January, a "temporary" gas price increase in March, another increase that will go into effect on July 12th plus it isn't even the holidays yet.... Unfortunately we don't know of a less expensive and reliable way to ship our packages.

HOW TO CHOOSE WHICH PATTERN SIZE TO PURCHASE:
Pattern sizes are typically not the same as Retail sizes so your pattern size may not be the same as your dress size. Patterns have consistent, standardized sizing from pattern brand to pattern brand. To figure out which pattern size you may need, compare your body measurements with the pattern Measurement Chart (see photo #8) and match as many measurements as possible to find your pattern size. Most patterns are Multi-Sized to help you get a custom fit.

SHIPPING:
We go to the Post Office 6 days a week (every day except Sunday and holidays) and try to ship every order we receive the same day. All patterns are stored and shipped in a 2 mil acid-free sleeve with heavy cardstock stabilizer and shipped via USPS with tracking.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES:
If there is a problem with your purchase, please let us know within 7 days so we can discuss how to make it right.

Returns are accepted within 30 days.... However, Patterns cannot be returned once they have been cut, used or unfolded - under any circumstances.

If you are unhappy with your purchase, refunds will be considered within 14 days after receipt of your pattern (we must receive your return within 30 days). Returns are accepted as long as the pattern is in the original condition it was shipped in (UNCUT, FACTORY FOLDED with INSTRUCTIONS). Any refund will be made once the item is received and the condition has been verified (original pattern cost only). Shipping fees are NOT refundable and return shipping costs will be the purchaser's responsibility.
