** ABOUT OUR DESIGNER **

Hello, I am Ikbal, born in Izmir, and have a 23 year old son. I was always doing knitting work - in Turkey it's part of the culture and we learned from our mothers and grandmothers. After 28 years of work-life, I decided to spend more time on this hobby by learning new skills and being inspired by the authentic and Boheme style. One of my signature designs is combining knitting designs with fine felt made of natural wool. I love mixing and mingling different fabrics and designs! I try to get better every day and improve my skills to offer better products to you.

We are a group of women producers from Izmir, Turkey. We normally sell our products in local bazaars and fairs, and we do this for years now. During COVID, our business was affected negatively, and our sons recommended we sell online, even globally! And now, we are doing this, selling our hand-made products to all of you. Our motto is "We make with love", and we hope that you will love our products!

**CARE**
Since Smyrna Collective products are knitted with sensitive yarns, they should be washed with cold or warm water on hand or washed in the machine at maximum 40 degrees in the wool program and not dried. Should not be ironed directly, only steam should be given. Dry cleaning is not recommended
