Choose Artwork by AK to create a special keepsake that will last a lifetime. All portraits are hand-drawn (no AI is used) by me the artist to bring the unique personality and features of your pet to life.

🐾 A digital portrait order comes with:

• One 8.5x11 professional giclee print
• One high resolution .png file (transparent background)
• One low resolution .jpg file (white background, perfect for mobile/social)
• The option to purchase matching greeting cards and stickers is available. The standard card size is A2 (4"x5") and comes with Kraft envelopes. Minimum sticker size will be between is 3 and 3.5-inches, depending on design.

🐾 What is needed from you:

1-3 quality (i.e., not blurry or from far away) photos of your pet(s). I will typically replicate a facial expression and pose from one or a combination of these photos. I will also need the name, age, and gender of the pet(s), plus any extra details about physical or personality traits that are not obvious from their photos.

🐾 A note about prints:
An 8"x10" image is best in a 11"x14" frame with an 8"x10" mat opening

Your custom artwork can also be made available on other items (shirts, mugs, etc.) at the standard price for those items and may be purchased separately. Please contact me to make arrangements, if needed.

★ IMPORTANT TIME FRAMES ★
The average turn-around time for a portrait is about 1 week from start to finish. This is dependent on how promptly you provide the requested image(s) and respond to draft approvals/changes.
*Note: Adding stickers to your order will extend the above time by one week.

★ CUSTOM ILLUSTRATION PROCESS ★

STEP 1: Purchase this custom listing

STEP 2: Message me with the HIGH-QUALITY reference image(s) of your dog(s). The better your photos are, the faster the process will go and the better the results! Also, please include any details that you want me to consider for your portrait: facial expressions, favorite colors, bandanna vs. collar, favorite ball, etc.

STEP 3: You will receive a copy of your sketched portrait outline within 2 business days, for your review and approval. This is when we confirm the composition and likeness. It is very important that you are happy with the sketch at this point before I commit it to color! My turn-around to apply any requested changes to the outline is 1-2 business days.

STEP 4: Once we agree on the outline, I will bring your custom drawing to life with color and send you the final image, generally within 2-3 business days (per pet), before it goes to print and ships. (Please see below if you order stickers)

STEP 5:
It takes 1-2 business days to prepare your print for shipment. Adding stickers or other items to your order will extend the above time by one week.

Once you've confirmed your draft, any changes beyond Step 3 will only be made at an additional cost to the buyer. I assure you I will do everything I can and over-communicate with you so that doesn't happen!

If you are unsatisfied with the item you receive, either due to damage during transport or otherwise, please take a photo of the item (if damaged) and contact our shop immediately so that we may have the chance to rectify the situation as soon as possible.
