A hand-painted color wheel designed to show off twelve different embroidery stitches. This pattern was made with water colors in my NYC studio and the printed fabric reflects that - the orange drip is on purpose and included on every sampler. Fun fact! I originally designed this sampler for a workshop that I taught at Purl Soho when I was living in NYC. Your finished sampler will serve as a stitch great reference for future projects. The printed Sampler is approximately 7" x 9".

+ How should I back my sampler?
For best results, I recommend backing this fabric with a second piece of fabric (cotton or linen) before placing your fabric in the hoop. You'll get the flattest,
most even stitches this way. Check out my how to for this step on creativebug or IGTV (@dropcloth)

+ What size hoops should I use? I like a size 6- but use whatever you hoop you have on hand.

This is my 3rd piece from this designer that I have bought. I also follow her on IG. I have not done either piece as I am on a deadline for a Christmas project. I can hardly wait - they are just so beautiful- and can’t wait to figure out my own colors. I Hope snd think they will be exciting to do.!looking forward to more.
