These chokers are designed so that even at the max suggested measurement for each size bracket, there will still be some room to adjust it larger still. If you have selected the correct size bracket for your needs your necklace should never need to be adjusted to the max strap length for a comfortable fit. Thankfully these pieces are returnable and exchangeable under my shops policy guide lines if ever an issue arises. If you have any questions regarding sizing please don't hesitate to ask.
