Custom and personalized orders

All garments are made to order and can personalized to your requirements. Please see the product page to see Customization options. If you would like more customization please contact me. I'm sure we can figure out a way for you to really personalize your clothing item. If you are interested in a specific color or a type of fabric please contact me so that I can give you some more options to choose from. After all custom-made clothing is a collaboration between the customer and a dressmaker.

Do you accept returns/exchanges?

Made-to-order items are not eligible for return or exchange. Therefore, please take caution when recording your measurements, as I can not be held responsible for items that do not fit due to incorrect measurements being given. Shipping costs for returns/exchanges are the responsibility of the buyer.

It's preferred that you wear your stays on top of another garment, not on the skin. Stays are not easy to wash. We recommend hand washing in lukewarm water in affected areas. Dry hanging is also recommended. If you want to achieve an authentic look stays were always worn on top of a shift or other dress-like undergarments. Let your stays air out for a while after wearing. With a garment underneath, the amount of sweat that gets through to the stays should be minimal, and even then proper airing should make it unnecessary to wash the stays. You can lace up your stays to create quite a snug fit at first, and fasten it later when the feeling of being compressed wears off. As long as you don't feel uncomfortable, it isn't too tight.

So I will begin this with a compliment to the seller; they were kind and respectful. However, I don’t think their corsets are for me. I’m short waisted and I thought it’d work from the pictures but I was mistaken, the highest points on the corset ended up poking me in my underarm. It definitely feels like they just made the pattern bigger without taking into account where certain parts were going to fall. The size ended up being so loose that the inside material of the corset irritated my skin (for reference I’m 160 lbs and 5’ tall, I usually get XL for clothing size and L for corset size). Other than the size, fit, and inside material, the item was very well made. I’ll suggest this to my friends with longer torsos. Also, this might be an overlay to a corset but definitely not a corset in its own right.

Hi, thank you so much for your response. I highly value all feedback. The corset sizes are drafted individually according to their measurements in the sizing chart. The basic reduction is 7-5cm(2-2.5 inch). Corsets should always be worn with a layer underneath. The sizes in the measurement chart are also drafted for an average person measuring 165cm (5’5”). For short or high waisted individuals, I recommend the Custom size option. Thank you.
