To explain "poms" refers to pom poms, the decorative fluffy balls we add to the top wide part of the cone to make it more festive and appealing.

For example, if you choose the cone color lime green, you’ll see options like "Rainbow Stripes" and "Rainbow Stripes Poms". The difference is that the "Rainbow Stripes Poms" version will have pom poms attached to the top of the cone, while the "Rainbow Stripes" option is the decorated cone without the pom poms.

【A Brief History】
A schultüte is a large cone shaped container filled with school supplies, toys, sweets, along with various other special treats. The schultütes are usually prepared by the parents or grandparents and given to children who are going to enter their first grade at school in Germany. They hope these cone shaped treats can add some fun to their first day and help them to release any anxiety.

The pre-made schultüte will come as shown in the listing pictures. We will include a small bag of decoration materials and fabric scraps in each order. You and your kids can decorate the cone together. Don't forget fill it up with love and treats for your beloved ones first day of school!

Since these are handmade items, slight variations on dimensions should be expected.
