This fine silver medieval shield shape ring is hand-crafted using metal clay, which consists of reclaimed silver particles and an organic binder. The piece is then fired in a kiln where the binder burns out leaving a beautiful .999 fine silver ring behind. Lastly I add a patina to highlight the rivets and then finish it up by bezel setting a stone in the center.
