This personalized bird locket necklace features a beautifully detailed swallow, handpainted in our Edinburgh studio. The bronze tones of the locket look beautiful with the gold and subtle lilac hue on the brass bird!

We can professionally etch two of your photos inside, and can engrave any message you choose on the back!

The locket measures 25mm (an inch) across. This necklace is available in a choice of chain lengths. Please refer to our illustration for a guide to how these lengths might look when worn.

We can personalise this locket for you, using a carefully designed technique to transfer your photographs onto the metal of the pendant itself, for a really soft and unique vintage effect. Parts of your image will merge with the golden brass behind, creating a very beautiful, unusual and ethereal look.

Some Tips for Choosing a Good Photo:
♡ Some background (not necessarily a lot!) is helpful - it might be difficult to work with a photo which is cropped very closely.
♡ Very pale, 'washed out' or overexposed images won't work very well.
♡ Please remember to send TWO images

We can also professionally engrave the back of your locket with a short message or inscription of your choice, in a beautiful vintage script. This locket can hold a maximum of twelve words.

It may be necessary to send images over two separate messages (Etsy currently can only allow a maximum of three attachments per message) which is absolutely fine.

If you have any problems with sending your photos, we will always get in touch with you to help.

While we can work with nearly any image, we want your locket to look its best! So we will always let you know if your image isn’t working out, and give you the opportunity to send another.

It’s useful for us to have a little background, so faces which are very closely cropped might not look the best in the locket. For our TINY lockets, please avoid group photos (stick to a maximum of two people per photo).
