What do I do if I didn't receive my item?

Make sure your shipping address is correct in your Etsy account settings. If it is Not correct, that is unfortunately not something that I am responsible for. You can message me before I mail your item and I can change it on the label. Once it has been mailed, I cannot do anything. All orders have tracking #'s so you open a case on usps.com or take your tracking info into your local post office. Once an item has been shipped by me and marked as checked in by the post office, the matter is out of my hands. I am not responsible for the post office. USPS does not always have current tracking info. If your item gets returned to me, I can re-ship, but you are responsible for the postage. I do not refund returned orders.

What do if do if my item breaks?

I always want you to have a positive experience in my shop...so: If you pull the reel out too fast or too hard or drop it or misuse the clip, it may break, so please be careful (reasonable pulling for work is what it's intended for). I do not replace or refund in those situations as I test all reels and clips prior to making them and again prior to shipping them. If any part of the badge reel is defective or breaks due to a way that I made it, simply send me a message and a photo (must have a photo) for me to review within 7 days of receipt of your item (I can see when it was delivered by the tracking #) and together we will figure something out for you.

What if I ordered for a holiday of special occasion, but my item didn't arrive in time??

Please take my estimated shipping time (1-7 Business days) into account and also the usps estimate of 2-6 Business days to ship First Class. I do try to rush holiday orders and gift orders, but I can never guarantee delivery by a certain date once the post office has scanned it into their possession. I sometimes have over 100 items to make per night and that's why I ask for the shipping time frame that I do.

What if my item is not what I expected?

Please ask all questions prior to purchase and see photos & read descriptions because I do not accept returns if it wasn't what you thought it would be. I have 2 types of clips available, so be sure to chose the one you want. If you need advise on a clip to choose, just ask and I'll be happy to help! Alligator/Swivel clips are like clothes pins in that you squeeze it to open and then it grips. The back of the reel also can swivel around for making card swiping easy. Belt/Slide clips do not have a back that swivels, but is stationary and the clip is more like a paperclip in that it slips over a pocket. Both clips are very effective, it is a personal preference thing.

How long does shipping take?

Currently it could take 1-7 Business days to ship your item. I try to ship quickly, but sometimes it may take me the full estimated time to get your order out if I have many orders. Domestic (within the US) packages that weigh under 16oz I use USPS First Class Shipping which Estimates 2-6 Business days. All orders do have a tracking # for you to follow as soon as I print your shipping label...under your "purchases and reviews". Over 16oz ships priority. I do not offer International shipping any longer.

Is there an extra charge for custom orders?

Nope, not unless you ask for something extravagant with lots of charms on it. I will usually charge a price to a comperable reel in my shop. Your item will be the same price as a comparable item.

How much does each item weigh?

Most of the badge reels weigh under or around 1 ounce. I will include the weight for those that weigh more.

I was notified my order has shipped, but it still says "pre-shipment", has it actually shipped?

Sometimes I print shipping labels a day or two in advance to start the packing process, but I ask for 1-7 Business days to ship all orders. I may ship sooner, but I do ask for that amount of time. I currently have my mail carrier pick up my orders from my front porch while I watch & wave and I was recently told that sometimes they are not checked in at my local post office, but that they could be loaded onto a truck which brings the packages to a regional distribution center, so tracking info can take a bit longer to register. Once the post office has your package checked in, I do Not update you on your order, because you’ll have a tracking number that you can follow. I see the same tracking info that you do.

Does the glitter come off of the background and make a mess?

Nope, the glittery background on many of my badge reels is actually manufactured inside that background and so no mess! It is not glitter glue or anything like that. It is a custome quality product that I have made specially for my badge reels. The last thing a nurse wants is to have glitter fall on her patient!

Why are some badge reels more expensive than others?

My prices are partly based on how much I have to pay for the items or charms I put on the badge reels. Some can be pretty pricey, but I like to carry lots of options and I'm willing to pay for them.
