Vintage style ring featuring a 15mm stone set in a detailed crowned setting.
The setting is a sterling silver finish that is heirloom quality.
Sits atop a thick adjustable base in an oxidized silver finish.

This special stone is named for the beautiful, shimmering flecks of blue/purple flecks which make these glass opal look like they are "on fire".
These are one of a kind pieces as every opal is unique.
These stones are made in present day, but date back to Victorian times where they were worn in necklaces, brooches, earrings and rings.
These are created from precious metal flakes embedded in the glass that appear to be on fire when light hits them.
Historical figures were also mesmerized by the nature of the seeming "fire flecks" shimmering within these unique stones.

These rings can be adjusted as small as a size 6 and will go up to about a size 12 fully open where both sides meet or up to and beyond a size 13.
At a size 13 there is about an 1/8 inch gap to give you an idea.
