What chain length should I order?

💜 The length is the TOTAL LENGTH of the necklace measured from end to end, excluding the pendant if the necklace has one. A 16" necklace length will sit just under the collarbone (not a choker) on a slim/petite neck, so adjust from there for your body type and where you want it to lay on your chest. For the most accurate length we recommend measuring around your neck or wrist at the spot you want the necklace or bracelet to sit. Wrap a string or cord around your neck or wrist and measure it. For bracelets add a 1/4" or 1/2" depending on a normal or looser fit.

Does Sterling Silver tarnish and can the tarnish be removed?

💜 YES, all sterling silver by nature will tarnish due to sulfur compounds found in many things. It can happen very fast as it is a "reaction" and not something that only happens over time. Perfumes, lotions, cosmetics, household cleaners, pools and sometimes just certain skin oils or perspiration can cause tarnish (oxidation). Orders come with a polishing cloth that will remove tarnish and bring it back to a shine. Just rub over the piece gently with that cloth to remove the tarnish. Once the tarnish is removed or after wearing in general, it's good to place your jewelry in its box or cover it to deter it from tarnishing over time. It takes longer to tarnish if your jewelry is stored in a plastic bag.

Where do you get your Connemara Marble?

The Connemara Marble that I use is from Ireland. I like to buy from two different stores right here on ETSY. Both stores are in Ireland, and I am in Chicago, so it takes a while to get supplies delivered but so worth it. THELDLEBEAD She is in Kilkenny Ireland, and she has the Shamrock shaped beads along with beautiful matte finished round beads. Her shop is loaded with beautiful beads and gemstones. CONNEMARASHOP Marble By Gerard. If you have been to Ireland and have gone into any shop, you will see his creations. My mom has a Connemara Marble key chain from Marble by Gerard from the 1980s. He includes a Certificate of Authenticity with every purchase. His store is in Castlebar, Mayo, Ireland.

The Celtic cross is beautiful and I I expected. The chain was too shiny for the cross. otherwise the delivery was great and the seller included a hand written note to me plus a sweet little Irish saying. overall I was happy 😊
