Rare! This is a very pretty vintage China Platter by Edwin M. Knowles China Co. in Pattern 42-3 Multicolor Florals, Scrolls, on White china, circa 1940s. The floral pattern is on a yellow background with pinks, blues, golds and greens and with golds and greens scroll work. The outer edge has a white petal and gold scrollwork. This platter is in wonderful vintage condition with no chips, nicks or cracks and the floral & scroll graphics are very nice in color and condition. There are normal flaws found in vintage pottery as a result of the manufacturing process at that time.

The oval shaped platter measures 15 1/2" x 11 3/4" and sits 1 1/4" high. The platter is a nice size and Semi Vitreous, made in the USA and in pattern #42-3.
