This is a tutorial and pattern for intarsia or mosaic crochet - no chart reading required!

I walk you through every step to create a square 42x43 stitches perfect for piecing a sweater or cardi, feature pockets on a pocket shawl, purse/shoulder bag, cushion cover...
AND you can mix and match it with my other skullish square patterns!

Pattern includes step-by-step intarsia technique and how to change colors, as well as instructions on upsizing the square to use as a larger panel. There's even a video walking you through the first five rows with a detailed demo on changing colors: https://youtu.be/Y7gGN1mgRXk

While my pattern uses a 3.5mm hook and 8 ply cotton, you can use any fibre and matched hook size. Good luck and let me know what you make!

Please do not share, sell or copy any part of this pattern. You are welcome to gift or sell your make. Please credit me, KeepCalmandCrochets, as the designer of this pattern. Thank you for your support and happy crocheting!
