To start your felting project - Bergschaf Tyrollean wool is suitable for wet felting and for needle felting. No prior knowledge of needle felting is necessary! This kit comes thoughtfully packaged in a box, ready to start making your autumn goods decoration.

Your Needle Felting Starter Kit includes:

- 3 felting needles (one each of sizes no. 32, no. 40, no. 42)

- 12 beautiful colors of Bergschaf Tyrollean wool roving and batting (30 (small) or 50 (medium) grams.

- Step-by-step instructions

German Groz-Beckert triangular felting needles:

Universal no. 32 - For the basic felting of various types of wool. Used to obtain the shape of a large product.

Thin no. 40 – Suitable for felting thin wool fibers and felting small details.

Very thin no. 42 - For finishing dry felting work from the thinnest wool. In wet felt, this needle can be used to finish work, as it leaves small holes.

Attention - this kit is intended for adults and kids over 10 yrs. who possess good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with focus and care.

Take care of your slippers
For hand stiched soles
1) Freshen up your woolen slippers by shaking them and getting rid of crumbled dirt, clean them with the vacuum cleaner and leave to ventilate for a few hours.
2) Dry clean.

For latex soles
Hand wash felted slippers in a warm water with a small amount of wool cleaning agent. Let woolen footwear dry naturally in a room temperature.
Caution: do not leave felted slippers with latex soles in a direct sunlight!

I cannot say enough good things about this wool. I love it the most for my needle felted projects. Felts up so fast. The seller is also such a nice kind person. Answering so many questions I had. It may take a bit longer for the wool to arrive, but for me, it is well worth the wait. Can’t wait until I own all of the colors.

These slippers are very cozy and a lovely snug fit in addition to keeping your feet warm (better than an average slipper). They’re made with care also. The customer service was good: shipping was prompt and they even changed the slippers to a darker gray. However, for the price, the sole is pretty thin. It’s okay on carpet, but on hard floors I can’t stand too long in them before my feet get sore. I got them because I thought the cork layer would offer additional cushioning because I stand a lot sometimes, but it doesn’t. Also, because the slippers are such a snug fit, I can’t put inserts in them—no space. So, I can’t fix the problem either. So, I tend to wear my thicker sole slippers and keep these as a backup. A bit disappointing.
