These decorative handpainted flat baskets will add a fresh flair to any room or decor. A coastal yet delicate design that intends to ease the mind and appreciate the delicacy of small detail. Part of a growing collection called SUTILL

A few different techniques I have used in these design. These handpainted baskets are textured, lightweight and easy to clean and they are perfect for a modern wall display or as a decorative accent in any kind of table.

1- I have first made the shape of these baskets out of natural cotton rope. (custom sizes available)

2 - Secondly I have applied a natural white eco friendly certified primer to the whole basket making it more rigid but beautifully lightweight and easy to clean and to hang!

3 - The third step is to slowly hand paint the design patiently over the textured surface (this is the part I enjoy the most :)) All paint is water based textile and acrilic paint.

4 - I then stich with thread a natural white trim around the basket that adds that shimmer final touch.

5 - The baskets have a hanger at the back from where to hang the baskets on the wall and an informative tag at the bottom.
