Bamboo is actually a fast growing grass that needs little maintenance does not require any pesticides or herbisides to grow and also uses very little water. Some species of bamboo even grow at an astonishing pace of 3 foot (90cm) per day

As each item is reusable they represent a great eco friendly alternative to plastic throw away cutlery.
