This is a 5.25" X 8." pen and ink illustration on drawing paper. Caladiums come in so many varieties, and so many of them are in pinks and greens, a favorite color combination. After drawing the leaves in pink, I filled them in with hand cut papers in pink and green. The pink paper has a delicate pink and white design like lace, and the green paper is thick and highly textured, in a yellowish green shade. This is a close up of the caladium's leaves.
The illustration is backed with foam core to protect it from damage.
