WHAT IS CONNEMARA MARBLE?
Connemara Marble is truly special:
We work with Connemara marble quarry in Lissoughter Co Galway to create these beautiful items. first opened in the 1820’s under the ownership of the Martin family.
At it’s peak the marble was used in many of Ireland’s most important buildings. It was shipped to the UK and the USA where it adorned some of the world’s finest buildings including Kensington Palace.
So famous was the quarry that it was visited by King Edward VII in 1903.

I've been looking for new coasters that will look well in my living room. My husband and I love these! The color is gorgeous. High quality. The coasters also have a felt bottom on the coasters which I appreciate. Very pleased with this purchase.
Very accommodating and exactly what we wanted! Shipping took longer than anticipated but the coasters are gorgeous. It was shipped internationally so one can never know exactly how long it will take.
I love my set of Connemara items. The coasters are so well made and genuinely beautiful. Well worth the price! The whiskey stones are a great option for keeping your drink from becoming watered down, as well as feel great in your hand. And the marble block is a bit different from the photograph but still beautiful—the stone is smooth instead of raw cut. The marbling and colors of the stones on all their items are splendid. I love having a little piece of Ireland with me. Just lovely. Thank you!
