The Story:
It’s 1923, and the speakeasy is packed for the birthday party of Al Spumoni, the world-famous bootlegger and ice cream tycoon. A waiter dims the lights for Al to blow out the candles on his cake. When the lights come back up, Al toasts the crowd, takes one sip of his special drink, then chokes and dies.

Who poisoned Al’s bathtub gin while the lights were out? Was it one of the gangsters in the room? A high-kicking flapper? A visiting silent film star? Or could it have been—YOU?

How many people can play?
This murder mystery party is designed to be played by 4-20 people. ALL 20 roles have full motives and ANY of the characters could be the murderer. You can also play with more than 20 players by adding guests as “detectives” who participate by asking questions each round and guessing who the killer is at the end.

Can I play virtually via video chat?
You bet! We created a whole new set of rules and instructions to be able to play via video chat, including how best to assign the murderer so that the host does not know who it is.

What do I actually get when I buy this?
You will receive all the files needed to host and run your murder mystery party as a digital download. You’ll then be able to easily print the files and play as many times as you like! You will also receive a link to the “Evidence” video narrated by a Broadway performer.

Can you play more than once?
Absolutely! We’ve created this game to be played over and over again, because the murderer always changes! Use your “Who Did It Slips” to assign a new murderer each time you play! Plus, the answers to the questions each round are different based on whether or not the character is guilty! How long does it take to play?
We estimate 1-1.5 hours, depending on how you structure your evening.
