I created this stunning paper cut at the beginning of the Pandemic. She is called 'Our Lady of Healing' and is filled with symbolism. Our lady has a spiderweb dress, the web that holds us together centering on our fate. Her children hold a rooster for vigilance and courage, and a swan for love and purity. She stands on a moth which leads us to light and truth but also shows our fragility. Hummingbirds are for lightness of being, joy, hope and peacefulness. The clematis flowers, which symbolize ingenuity and artifice, are difficult to grow - but if one cares for them well, they will flourish!
This piece is very detailed and delicate. Cut from mid-weight slightly textured Black or Creamy Beige cardstock. Ready to frame as is, or use as desired.
