How are shipping costs calculated?

The shipping costs are calculated by kilos: 0-2 kilo 2-5 kilo 5-10 kilo 10-20 kilo Combining items is always possible. Please contact me for the exact shipping costs, so I can calculate the correct shipping costs.

Do you send shipment insured?

Above € 50 I will insure shipments. This means that the customer has to sign for receiving the shipment.

How long is the shipping process for mailbox post?

This estimation is given by the forwarder. Our experience with mailbox post is that it takes longer than packages. The maximum delivery time for mailbox post is appr. 4 weeks. Is express delivery possible?

No, at the moment I decided not to provide express delivery in this shop. The prices are astronomical and I cannot guarantee the shipment will arrive within the estimated timeframe given by the forwarder.

Returned shipments after failed delivery attempts

When a delivery attempt has been made and the recipient was not at home, the carrier will deliver the shipment at the local pick up location. Usually a shipment will be held for 14-30 days for the recipient to pick up. After that the shipment will be returned to sender. The recipient is responsible for picking up the shipment in time. Also, the recipient should make sure the address and emailaddress in Etsy are correct. I will follow shipments and communicate about this. The estimated delivery time is given in the shipment notification and the recipient should also follow a shipment. I will not refund the shipping costs when a shipment has been returned because the recipient failed to pick up a shipment or did not meet customs requirements

1. No prices will be mentioned on the packing slip. 2. No invoice will be added (expect Norway) 3. Within the EU (except Norway) there is no value mentioned on the shipping label. Shipments within the EU are free of customs duties and VAT (except Norway). There will be no additional charges to expect.

What to expect when you mark your order as a gift outside the EU?

1. No prices will be mentioned on the packing slip. 2. The invoice will be added (incl. prices) 3. Outside the EU (and Norway) the value IS mentioned on the shipping label. As a company I can't ship orders as a gift. All items will be marked as commercial goods on the shipping label and the invoice will be added. Can you change the value on the shipping label? No, I can't change the value on the shipping label to avoid VAT and custom duties. As a company I am sending an order to a customer. The buyer is the one ordering a gift, therefore custom duties and VAT need to be paid according to regulations (different by each country). Not following regulations can result into a fine.
