A 15mm wide fan shaped silhouette die made from 10mm thick clear acrylic, a great way of creating 3D shapes from relatively thin metal sheet.
It can be used with either hydraulic press or bench vice, and the instruction sheet included with each order gives guidance on both methods.
Texture the metal first and make sure it is annealed. Tape it in place on the die. Place one or two rubber sheets on top and then apply pressure using a hydraulic press or bench vice.
The 10mm acrylic is strong and allows for nice deep impressions. As it is clear you can easily align patterns and see the metal pushing through as you look from the side. The larger the design, the greater the impression.

My favourite way of using the dies is to form a matching pair and solder them back to back to create a hollow form - perfect for earrings, pendants, bracelets and more! Many of the silhouette die listings show examples of jewellery made using them.
This die features a teardrop measuring 15mm across.
Other dies available in this design measure 35mm, 30mm, 25mm and 20mm across. All the dies have an outside measurement of 5cm x 5cm. They are available individually or as a set of 5 as shown in the last photo here https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1282507456/set-of-5-fan-shaped-silhouette-press
A set of two 5cm x 5cm rubber sheets is available here https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1207741991/2-rubber-sheets-for-use-with-silhouette
The copper example was patterned with the large Watercolour Leaves 2 texture sheet.
