Great pattern, and easy to follow. I decided to make it a bit shorter and added a row of single crochet at the bottom for a more finished look.

I love to knit, but I like to knit while watching TV or talking, therefore I usually stick to squares and rectangles (scarves and blankets). I made this adorable pumpkin hat and only had to YouTube a few terms to figure out the decrease at the top and the leaf - purely due to my inexperience. Directions were very clear and easy to follow. Will update with a photo of my grandson once he receives it. Thank you for sharing!
