Vintage Brass Nutcracker | Grandfather Clock Novelty Figural | Early 20th Century Treen Collectible | Kitchenalia Gift

A charming and characterful vintage brass nutcracker in the form of a miniature grandfather (longcase) clock, complete with a broken-pediment top, scrolled finials, a detailed clock face with Roman numerals, a panelled case with diamond inlay motif, and bracket feet decorated with a fleur-de-lis design. Likely dating from the early 20th century, this novelty piece is a wonderful example of figural brassware made for both practical use and decorative display.

The two arms pivot at a sturdy hinge, with the nut cracked in the lever gap at the base, a fun and functional design that doubles as a delightful curio for any mantelpiece, kitchen shelf, or display cabinet. The rich aged brass patina, with lovely verdigris highlights in the recessed detailing, gives this piece genuine vintage character and charm.

A super find for collectors of treen, kitchenalia, brass curios, or novelty nutcrackers, and equally a lovely gift for anyone who loves quirky antique-style objects with a story to tell. Would suit a vintage-themed kitchen, a collection of figural brass items, or simply as a conversation-starting trinket.
