A beautiful piece of British Oak believed to have come from HMS Victory.

Wood and copper were removed from the ship during her restoration some years ago and which my late father acquired.

I have sold various pieces over the years and still have some pieces for sale which I guaranteed were from the ship and provided a Certificate of Provenance but as we are unable to confirm this is Victory oak it WILL NOT come with a certificate and is being sold at a much lower price than if it were guaranteed.

This particular piece has been sanded down and treated with natural Danish Oil which really has brought out the beautiful grains and colourings within the wood.

It really is an unusual piece with a jagged point, approximate measurements: 8x6.5cm extending to 12.5 cm at point. 1.4cm in depth.

Item was perfect and the shipping was 2nd to none. Please note: Purchased this as a gift but, the certification was made out to me. Be aware of that.

The certificate of Provenance is always made out with the purchasers name on it, and if it’s a gift the same. It’s the way the Certifcate was originally printed by whoever designed it. This is made aware to purchasers in my profile.
