A working antique doorbell which is connected to an ornate push button which operates the bell. The ornate bronze push button and backplate would be installed on the exterior of the home with the bell on the interior so residents can hear it when rung. The chain is strung through the wall (not currently connected as shown). The bell side is plainer than the ornate button. We have paired another salvaged bell cover with this piece in order to make it a complete working set. The bells rings beautifully when the button is pressed. Please see all of our pictures for details.
The button and backplate portion of this set measures 4" tall by 1 7/8" wide. The bell mounted on wood measures 3 1/8" wide by 7 1/2" tall. The chain is approx. 11" long and can be lengthened by adding additional chain as necessary. This set ships free within the US.
