Black linen womens smock top tunic. Plus size. Maternity. Womens linen clothing. One size fits all.

This smock frock / top was inspired by a 1960s Balenciaga opera coat. It has a stunning, voluminous silhouette which is so sophisticated. Depending on what you wear on the bottom, this piece transforms completely. Pop it over leggings and ballerinas for a shopping trip or pair it with tailored pants and a heel for something more formal. The fabric is a beautiful Italian linen that gives an incredible shape. The low scoop neck line has a bias collar which can be worn popped up or rolled over. The sleeves are gathered gently below the elbow. All seams have been finished professionally and it has been machine hemmed.

This garment looks fabulous on plus sized and maternity figures as all measurements are free. If you have any questions whatsoever please convo me :)

The model here is 5'10" so the top would be quite a bit longer on a smaller person :)

HOW DO I MEASURE MYSELF?

Bodice: This refers to the circumference of your chest not your bust. To measure this take a measuring tape and run this around yourself under your armpits, holding it firmly but not so that it digs into you.

Bust: Bust refers to the circumference of the most protruding part of your chest. Please measure yourself with the bra that you would most likely wear with the garment because this may change the measurements.

Waist: Waist refers to your natural waist, which in many cases corresponds to the circumference around your belly button.

Hips: This is the circumference of the widest part of your pelvis. Most women find that they hold the tape around their bottom to find this measurement.

HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY GARMENTS?

I HIGHLY recommend dry cleaning linen, silk, viscose (rayon) and wool garments. Even though they are natural fibers, they can shrink and/or lose their lustre if washed. Having said this, unless I clearly stipulate in my item description that a particular garment MUST be dry-cleaned, delicate cold water washing is ok.

My synthetic silk (polyester) pieces can be washed delicately, and drip dried. Cool iron.

My cotton pieces can be washed delicately in warm water, and line dried. Hot iron.

I wore this top within the first hour after I received it. I couldn't wait. The fabric is of a high quality--it has a richness to it--and the cut is slimming. On me, the blouse doesn't doesn't hang as long in the front as it appears to in the photo. But I am 5'9", and it hangs to just below the top of the hip. I do like the way it hangs--it looks polished. The neckline is perfect for both short and long necklaces. I would love to have this in a deep midnight blue-purple color. Many thanks!
