Appliqued (handsewn) on both sides. Made of durable, UV protected, 200 denier nylon fabric; finished with durable canvas heading and brass grommets. Handmade in Seattle, Washington.

* Note: some letters on single-layered flags read correctly on one side and reverse on the other. Flags with simple lettering, like BOO, can easily be read from either side since the "O" reads correctly on both sides (see photo). The only way to have lettering read correctly on both sides is to sew two flags together with a liner in the middle. This makes the flag very heavy, and it will take a lot of wind to fly properly. This is the second flag I’ve bought from this vendor. The first one was awesome, but this new one (BOO) has lettering on it and the flag is not reversible. When it hangs one way it is legible, but the other side is illegible because all of the letters are backwards. For over $100 it is not worth it. If you’re going to sell a flag with lettering it should be able to be read from both sides.

Hi Julia, Sorry to hear you are disappointed with your flag. Lettering always reads correct on one side of a flag, and reverse on the other. The only way around that is to sew two flags together, with a liner in the middle, which makes flags very heavy and they don't fly well. I have been hand-making flags for over 40 years and stand by the quality of my workmanship. Please contact me and I will send a return label so you can return the flag for a refund.
