This Cocobolo cremation urn is a unique design created to hold the cremains of up to a 205-pound human. It is designed using both modern and ancient wood bending techniques and is perfect for a mantle. The interior is sealed with shellac and the exterior is finished with water-based lacquer polished and buffed to a beautiful sheen.
Access to this artistic urn is from the uniquely designed top which is held in by 6 strong magnets. It is very secure and stealth like.

I can engrave/personalize this urn by making a plaque that would adhere to the side or bottom. I can also engrave directly into the top.

The finish I use is a water based KEM-AQUA from Sherwin Williams. I often use paste wax with steel wool to make the piece feel better to the touch and to bring out the sheen.
Very little care if any is necessary aside from removing dust occasionally. You can use an air canister if you like. You may also use any wax type of polish to bring out the sheen. If alcohol or a chemical gets on the piece, wipe off immediately. Letting a chemical sit will ruin the finish.
The leather lining, I use is a synthetic suede called Ultrasuede. It can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

This is an incredible wood worker in Colorado and I absolutely love every piece that I’ve purchased from them. I personally have two pill boxes and when my father passed away, this shop was my first place to look for an urn.
