We put a lot of time and effort into setting ourselves apart but sadly people still copy our designs and use our words for their own financial gain. All our stones are genuine and are sourced from beautiful locations across the World from Botswana to India to Brazil and beyond! We take care to only work with reputable suppliers however we cannot guarantee we will always be able to source the same stones so if you like what you see grab it whilst you can as some stocks are limited! Imports are monthly, if you would like a particular stone that we do not currently hold please reach out and I will try to get this in on the next shipment - note this can take up to 4 weeks to arrive to us before we can get it up on the website for you

In our experience, all stones including the A Grade material are likely to have some form of small imperfections and will not be completely smooth across the entire surface, when a raw stone is tumbled it begins as a rough jagged surface, as the tumbling process takes place the stones are gradually worn smooth but as you would expect with a natural material deep marks and pits may not be totally removed, personally I find this a very nice tactile feeling and it has no negative impact on the energy of the stone

OUR STORY
I'm Ashleigh and I'm the owner of Hayling Studio Ltd, since a young age I've been into alternative style and used to love going into town on a Saturday with my mum and into the 'hippy shop' to pick out some 10p incense sticks - I took this very seriously but almost always chose sandalwood!

Growing up I was always very spiritual and loved being outdoors and enjoying nature, I am at my happiest when I can feel the breeze of the sea air on my face.

I met my partner in 2008 and after getting married in 2016 we tried for a few years to fall pregnant but unfortunately, nothing was working for us, we ended up going down the route of IVF treatment and during our journey of such emotional highs and low's I felt I needed something to help connect me back with nature and give myself a little pick me up, I turned to gemstones and was looking for some jewellery to keep me grounded and focussed.

I was disappointed with what was available so I created my own bracelet designed for IVF and began offering similar bracelets to friends I'd made along the way, for fertility, healthy pregnancy, healthy body and then it grew to people requesting collections for bereavement, addiction, sobriety, success, happiness and our little business blossomed from there.

We've since branched out from creating jewellery to offering stone kits and sets, to carry with you or to arrange in a special place in your home. I'm studying a course in gemology which I hope to complete soon, although I have my hands full these days with our beautiful little miracle rainbow baby, our 18 month old daughter Sienna!

Our aim for the business is to give hope, to bring something a little special and unusual and to bring a little joy to people's lives. We believe in the power of positive thought, and we hope you enjoy our shop and our story, we love to hear from you too so please reach out on social media :)
