We recommend cleaning your cast iron with table salt and a damp paper towel after use. The salt will break down any food or oil buildup without ruining the integrity of your seasoning. •Pour a tablespoon amount of salt in your warm or cool skillet, dampen a paper towel and use it to scrub the pan with the salt. •After scrubbing with salt, rinse thoroughly with warm water until all salt and debris are cleared. •Immediately dry with a hand towel and warm the item on the stove. •Once warm to the touch, thinly coat the entire item (inside, outside, handle, etc) with your preferred cooking oil. •Wipe off excess oil with a paper towel and store until next use. Always warm before cooking and NEVER allow drastic temperature changes!
