They all have interesting natural shapes (with naturally shiny areas!) and gorgeous crystal structure. The larger stones would make great pocket or meditation stones or collectibles and the smaller stones (especially the shards) would make excellent jewelry. Medium: All of these stones are between 1.54 and 2.32 grams and they each measure 1/2" to 7/8" long by 1/4" to 3/8" wide by 1/8" to 1/4" tall. I have grouped Small and Extra Small stones by shape. "Regular" and "Shards" refer to the shape of the stones, with shards being very long and thin and regular being more equal in length and width. Please keep in mind that I have organized all of the stones by weight, so all stones of each size are in the same weight range regardless of shape or measurements.

Small: All of these stones are between 1.1 and 1.44 grams. Each "regular" stone measures 1/2" to 7/8" long by 1/4" to 3/8" wide by 1/8" to 1/4" tall while each "shard" measures 7/8" to 1.25" long by 3/16" to 5/16" wide by 1/8" to 1/4" tall. GENERAL MINERAL INFO: Spodumene is a mineral whose varieties include pink/purple kunzite and green hiddenite. Spodumene, in its pure form, is colorless (as these stones are) while its other varieties are colored by trace element impurities (such as manganese or chromium). The name “spodumene” comes from Greek meaning “reduced to ashes,” referring to its ash-like color and appearance after being ignited. Mined in Pakistan.
