Djellaba is a Moroccan long dress made from merino wool. handwoven by local craftsmen and women, characterized by its weight because it's made from thick wool to protect the Berber farmers of the region against the cold during the winter.

Almost all djellabas of both styles (male or female) include a baggy hood called QOB (Arabic: قب) that comes to a point in the back.
