What to know
Blaze Powder can be used on wood to create unique burned designs. A little goes a long way and only make what you need for your project and store the rest without the fear of mold or the need to refigerate.
How to Use Blaze powder.
Shake Blaze Powder Jar As ingredients May Have Settled
Follow Blaze Powder Insert Using Your Measuring Spoon and Whisk
PRO TIP - Add a drop of food coloring to help you see how much gel you have put on your design
Add and rub your stencil down well to adhere to the surface.
Apply a thin layer of Blaze Gel with a squeegee.
Scrape off excess and return to the separate jar for many more projects!
Remove the stencil and allow the Blaze Gel to absorb/dry for at least 2-3 minutes.
Use a high-powered heat gun at 775 F.
Move the heat around the design until the design begins to burn; The more heat you add the darker the burn will get.
PRO TIP - Apply Heat From the Bottom To Avoid Burn Marks
After the design is burned, allow the surface to cool then wipe away debris with a dry cloth.
Finish the project with stain or sealer or leave it natural.
