Most of our items are made to order. Each piece has multiple processes it goes through before it reaches completion. Please be patient with us as we create your jewelry. This beautiful pendant depicts the god Thoth on the front, and lotus flowers on the reverse.

Thoth was the god of the moon, sacred texts, mathematics, the sciences, magic, messenger and recorder of the deities, master of knowledge, and patron of scribes.

In ancient Egypt, the lotus represented rebirth. This meaning was inspired by the nature of the lotus's petals that spread above water upon sensing sunlight and closed during the night so as for the flower to fall back under water. Sprouting from the bottom of the river, the lotus flower generally opens up its petals against the surface of water.

This pendant is about 1 inch in diameter, made in bronze, and oxidized for contrast.

I absolutely love the necklace, but the chain was a bit shorter than I anticipated. My fault really, but I was hoping it would be longer despite ordering the longest one. Other than that I truly do love the necklace and it’s so comfortable to wear.
