Needle felted dog portrait made with a single barbed needle and wool. Each portrait is done by using a photo of your pet to make a realistic keepsake you will treasure.

All of my custom portraits are made of 100% wool and are done by poking wool onto a background (either wool or linen) with a special barbed needle. I then layer colors to achieve a "painted" wool portrait.

I ask that you choose a high quality photograph that is brightly lit and does not have an abundance of shadowing. A crisp photo is key to capturing all of your pet's unique details. Eye-level photos taken outside (not in bright sunlight) usually work best. The more detail I see, the more I can add to the portrait!

All custom needle felted portraits are framed in a hoop. Please keep in mind, the bigger the piece, the more detail I can add.
