here is a product that will shim behind your hose bib and move it forward allowing better space for securing your garden hose.

You may need to get longer screws
This is a 1/2" stackable hose bib spacer
This is for existing hose bibs or new construction

Existing homes
To see how many will work for you simply unscrew both screws holding in your hose bib and lightly pull forward then measure the distance from the back of the hose bib to the wall and this will allow you to know the amount of space you can work with. If you have plenty of forward movement only use what you need, gaining the accessibility needed to secure the hose on. on existing homes works best with Pex

New construction
This will allow you to set your proper depth so that way in stone or rock your hose bib will look professional and be useable to the costumer.

Exactly what I needed and could find nowhere else! Fantastic practical solution to an annoying problem - now my water bib will be far away enough from my brick foundation I won't scrap my knuckles when attaching and removing the hose. Looks great too!
