1. ARE THESE MANTELS SOLID WOOD?
No - they are hollow-core but have a solid wood trim (front and sides) - the 5th photo shares more about the construction. The trim may not match perfectly with the top and bottom of the mantel as different materials are used. Once the mantels are installed this is not noticeable.

2. DO YOU INCLUDE BRACKETS?
Yes - each mantel includes a bracket and hardware for installation.

3. HOW MUCH WEIGHT DO THESE MANTELS HOLD?
These mantels are designed to hold a significant amount of weight - weight capacity is dependent upon the quality of installation

4. DO YOU SELL SOLID WOOD MANTELS?
Not at this time...

5. WILL MY MANTEL LOOK JUST LIKE THE PHOTOS?
No - each mantel is unique based on the pieces of wood chosen for the trim - that is the beauty of wood - each mantel is unique.

Hurd and Honey provided an excellent mantel for a reasonable price and were excellent communicators. The full timeline was purchase on January 4th, message on January 16th with the estimated date, message with installation instructions on January 21st, and then finally, the package was delivered on January 22nd, just about what the estimated delivery was! When the package arrived, I was stunned by how much protection they included! It was wrapped end to end in foam and cardboard. They put the mounting bracket and the hardware inside the mantel so that the finish on the wood wouldn't get scratched or warped. I was impressed that they were able to ship a 6 foot long, constructed wooden box as quickly as they did and without damage. I'm glad I took the chance with Hurd & Honey because I got exactly what I ordered!
