I can provide you with good quality pre-coated paper giving you a simple, mess-free experience to create your own beautiful designs for cards and pictures.
Be warned, though, you might end up hooked!
CYANOTYPE CHEMICALS HAVE A LIMITED LIFE SPAN SO PLEASE BEAR THIS IN MIND WHEN ORDERING. I RECOMMEND USING THEM WITHIN 2-3 WEEKS.
What you get:
300gsm watercolour paper, coated with light sensitive chemicals sealed in a light sensitive envelope.
A choice of size: A5, A6, or 10x10cm.
A couple of small test sheets to practice with.
Your paper will be in a light proof envelope.
Easy to follow instructions to guide you through the process.
Free postage.
**Please go to bottom of page to see what you will need in addition to this to make your cyanotypes at home.
Times for preparation: I precoat paper to order for freshness so please allow 1-2 days preparation time.
Variations: You'll get a mixture of sheets - some coated all over, and some with a freehand white edge.
Note:
Don't remove paper from black envelope until you are ready to work on it. Exposure to UV light will start the development process.
Read the instructions all the way through BEFORE opening the black envelope.
Sheets are best used within a month of receipt.
Sheets vary due to brush strokes.
Shades of blue vary due to length of exposure etc. – every print is unique.
