Size 0,9 mm crochet hook;
Glass eyes 8 mm;

It may help to use your favorite materials and tools but to keep brooch size I recommend to choose crochet hook size not more than 2mm.
Final size of the work with the recommended materials and tools will be 5 cm without the tail length.
