How do I care for my board?

Care for your wooden serving board includes sanding and oiling. We sell a care kit which includes sand paper and wood conditioner along with instructions. Use the sand paper to hand sand then apply the conditioner. Let the conditioner sit and soak into your board overnight then buff off. Repeat as needed. *Do not soak your board in water. *Do not put your board in the dishwasher.

Can I choose my wood?

We don't offer exact wood options but if you describe what you would like in your order, we do our best to match. All boards are live edge with no exact straight lines.

Can I have my board by a certain date?

Custom orders take time, we have a three week turn around time for our charcuterie boards as they are all made to order. We do offer a rush processing option for $20. If you choose this option, your order will ship within 7 days from order date. Can you engrave a logo or photo?

We can engrave most logos, just email the vector, JPG, or PNG, to northernrootsww@gmail.com. We cannot engrave photographs.

One of a kind beautiful live edge black walnut and epoxy charcuterie serving boards. This unique board and size can also be used as an ottoman tray.

Rectangular board with the dimensions of 24 x 12 x .75", with optional metal handles.

Choose your preferred epoxy color (white, black, emerald green, blue, merlot or request a color) with 2 pieces of beautiful live edge walnut. The boards you see on the listing are not the actual board you will receive, these are examples of our past boards.

This is a natural product. Just as in nature, every tree is different and every slab is different. There are many variations of walnut, wood grain and coloring will be different on each and every board.

Specially handcrafted by an experienced woodworker along Wisconsin’s eastern lakeshore. This board makes a perfect gift for any occasion, or a beautiful addition to your kitchen!

*Highly Recommended* There is an option to add on $10 wood care conditioning kit. The kit contains 400 grit sand paper, 4 oz food safe wood conditioner, and care instructions to keep your board looking and feeling fresh. Wood boards require a bit of care and consideration so they can be enjoyed for years to come!

The board is beautiful and the engraving is perfect. Shipping did take longer than it said, and I would have loved a picture of the board before it was sent (I didn’t ask for that) the board also came with the handles, which I didnt necessarily want, but ended up being great and the client loved it!
