The nightingale has had the most spectacular career of all literary birds. It has appeared in many thousands of poems , from Homer to the present day. The nightingale, through its appearance in poetry, has become known as the bird of spring and love.

The journal’s cover is made of top grain Italian leather and printed in small quantities. Each journal is hand assembled by local Florence Italy artisans using traditional book binding techniques. The printing of this colorful journal includes shading variations which add to the handmade beauty of the journal and are not flaws.

The journal features 384 pages/192 sheets of FSC recycled ivory LINED 110 gram archival papers. Each journal is finished with a coordinating hand sewn binding making it easy to stay open and secure when writing. An attached light blue silky bookmark will mark your pages .

I journal every day and have purchased many journals, but none as beautiful as this one. I highly recommend. It is amazing beautiful floral leather journal complete with a matching bookmark. I will be adding my own scripture at the top of the pages. This is a high end journal. I’ve never seen anything like it and it’s well worth the money. I may order another in the future.
