Hello! This listing is for a digital download ONLY. This PDF includes the templates to make a large cardboard and paper mâché jardinière urn. The final vase will be approximately 12.75" tall and 11" wide.
This shape is inspired by a few examples at the V+A, I am delighted to share this new pattern with y'all!
You can decorate this large vase however you like to infuse a bit of whimsy or personality into your interior design! Are you inspired by Delft? Bold stripes or checks? Petite florals? This recycled craft is a perfect opportunity for you to experiment and play. (Please remember that the samples I shared here are painted in my taste and mood when I made them but that nearly anything is possible. Follow your muse!)
This listing includes the templates for a cardboard and paper mâché jardinière. It consists of a page of instructions and 10 pages of templates, plus additional tips and tricks. (It does not include painting patterns, just shapes.)
This tutorial is written in English, and all measurements are listed in inches.
Please note: This resulting jardinière is not food/water safe. Paper mâché is NOT water-tight or proof. This is intended to be decorative. There is space inside to insert a glass or plastic cylinder.
This project will take you a few afternoons to complete due to the drying time for the paper mache and how complex/simple you decide to paint it. If you made the paper mâché classic urn project I shared here, this one is just a bit more complex.... but so FUN!
You will need a PDF reader such as Acrobat (or similar) to open the PDF file and a printer that prints US letter-size paper or A4 paper.
